How to care for spruce branches:
- Use a clean vase with cool water so that about 90% of the stem is in the water.
- Trim the base of the branches with a sharp tool at approximately a 45° angle.
- For thick woody stems, a small vertical split at the bottom helps them take up water.
- Place the branches in a cool location away from direct sunlight and air conditioning airflow.
- Check the water level regularly.
- You can also lightly mist the branches with water to help maintain their freshness.
- If the water becomes cloudy, replace it and clean the vase.
